Hi all My name is Huw, I'm a 31 year old married guy, originally from Wales but now living in Sydney, Australia. I used to do a lot of roleplaying but since leaving uni about 10 years ago silly things like work and family have got in the way and I haven't played anything for ages. Things have moved on a lot since those days and my circle of friends doesn't include any RPers, so I have been looking for a play by post to get into for a while. This week I stumbled across Aledeon, which looks perfect for what I want. Still getting to grips with how this all works but excited about getting back into RPing at last! |

Evenin Gents. Here, I guess I'm going to be known as Corinth, though on other sites, I'm am known as "Watcher." I'm currently still setting up my profile so that its all nice an' neat, but I think I have enough for posting to look half decent. I got here from Roleplay Gateway, looking for a more systemized roleplay experience (as hard to beleive as that sounds) and saw this place. I have to say, it looks fun. I'm just trying to decide on my character's favored deity for the moment. While he's a Bard, I'm into giving him an unusual Deity to worship. I'm torn between Beshaba, Kelemvor, and Oghma. Who would you pick? |

Kelemvor is a good one. I'm not too knowledgeable about the D&D gods - Shaftsbury is the best one to ask, I think - but I was researching them a while back. | |

Greetings or should I say vendui' (forgive me by the way if my Drow is a bit rusty). I've been away from Aledeon for quite some time now (I tried logging in last year but it wouldn't let me and I just gave up -finally decided to register again today). I left mainly because of real life requiring too much attention, my main character somehow dying (sort of) and the forum activity declining (unfortunately). I'm glad to see a few user names that I do recognize. As for me, well, I'd rather remain mysterious but if you really want to know more about me then I can tell you that I'm French, I like watching movies (not that much into recent blockbusters but I like classic movies and don't mind more obscure titles), reading (many different books but I'm rather particular regarding what I read) and obviously RPing (pnp and CRPG, I'm a fan of Dragon Age by the way). I also love Scotland (I lived a year not far from Edinburgh). Anything else? Well, I'm 32 now so I'm a bit older than when I used to post here (but not much wiser I'm afraid). I am currently enjoying some free time after being way too busy in recent years so I decided to grab this opportunity and visit Aledeon. I used to play as Kalcalan, Kestrel, Van Halfling and Gloomseeker. Still, the most fun I had was with good old gloomy boy and I wouldn't mind bringing him back from RPG limbo. I must have some folder about Gloomseeker somewhere I should look for it. In the meantime, I hope the action will pick up and I look forward to RPing in the Isles of Aledeon once again. Aluve'! |

Hello there! My name is Dee Anne, though most call me Dee and I hail from the corn & cow state of Indiana in the US. I am a 31 year old single female who is currently going to college to earn first my associates before transferring to work towards my bachelor's in English, preferably with a concentration in Literature and Creative Writing, with a minor in medieval history. I love to write, when writer's block isn't currently destroying my imagination, as well as read (as it seems so many others here also enjoy). I am the editor in chief for my college's newspaper as well. Mercedes Lackey is one of my all-time favorite fantasy authors, with Piers Anthony right behind. I enjoy playing computer RPG's such as Dragon Age: Origins, Baldur's Gate, and many others of the same genre. I am one of the news editors for Dragon Age for a gaming website that focuses on all types of RPG's, from BG, NWN, IWD, Diablo, as well as other games, for PC's and consoles. In fact, that's where I met Gloomseeker, who is the one who pointed me out to this site. I haven't RP'd like this in a very long time, so forgive me if I'm a bit rusty once I hit the RP forums. I look forward to getting to know, and interacting with, all of you in the future! |

Hello. First and foremost, I'm rather addicted to RP. (indie systems, IRC) Planescape is my biggest love, settings wise. Consider myself LG, alignments wise. I'm Serbian, 23, and have almost no experience RPing in PbP. Gloomseeker told me this would be a nice place to RP and so here I am. Looking forward to the experience, should I survive June and all the exams in it. Edit: Alternate characters: Felmir, Charon, Jinx, Nella. (Yup, I love pallies.) |

Hi all. I'm an old RPer from Aledeon, used to go by the names of... "Thyn" "Shadow Elf" (whose character was actually named "Sacrial") and I believe there was a third one... I'm not positive, I know I created Thyn then recreated his character as a completely new entity.  I remember a bunch of you, but a lot of the names seem new >.>As it stands, I've returned! But, me being the indecisive flake that I am, I may disappear at some point (hopefully not to the dismay of anyone's good RP threads >.< ) Let's see... My real name is Mike, I'm in college studying Math/English (headed to gradschool for Creative Writing). I love writing, especially fantasy stuff (though lately my pieces have been romantic-esque and non-fantastic). My new character is named Sanatio, and his background is already rather fleshed out (was going to / am going to use him for a story already). He is the last remnant of a religious order called the Order of the High Blade that worships "The Holy Sun." In essence, they worshiped both Kelemvor and Pelor through one icon, to put it into DND terms. Most of them have been annihilated due to a strategic misstep by Sanatio which lead to the downfall of the entire order and all of its settlements. At least, that's what Sanatio knows/believes. This is all subject to change should it not work well with his introduction RP / if his order breaks any rules of the board (I've been gone so long I've forgotten the restrictions). Anyway, open to PMs... so, say hello or whatever, haha. |
