Here are some links to recent screenshots, the first two are proof of concept images for the Overland Map. I have used a map image as a visual effect, to act as a texture for the entire 24 x 24 overland area. No grass or textures are required in the area except for a single texture in the usable portion of the area, and a black texture for the remaining unusable portion surrounding the 24 x 24 tiles. This will greatly cut down on the number of placeables/grass/textures required to make the map believable. Spawning of treasure/secret items/creatures is going to be handled by NESS, just as it is in the normal areas. Area transitions are handled by triggers/placeables, and we can have any number of transitions on the overland map which will greatly decrease the number of areas needed in the module to produce the same result.
